Note: This is the best I could come up with for the German divisions in the West starting Nov I 42. Obviously the transfers of the 6th, 7th, and 10th Pz XXs would have been canceled if the Allies had directed Torch against southern France. It takes the Allies 5 turns to assemble 3 armor divisions, although a couple more could arrive from GB. The British also have to maintain a credible invasion force along the English Channel to keep the Axis honest.

The following are some corrections and additions to the Axis OB in the End of the Beginning scenario in TEM 63.

  • In the Italian Breakdown Boxes add the 6* Para HQ 185 for the 185th Para XX.
  • Moved the 1-8 Mot Inf III 66 out of the Replacement Pool, but leave the 9th Bersaglieri III in the Replacement Pool and replace it with 12th Bersaglieri III in the 101st Mot Inf XX Breakdown Box.
  • Add a Breakdown Box for the 102nd Mot Inf XX with the HQ 102, the 2-10 Mot Inf III 7B and 2x 1-8 Mot Inf III 61, 62.
  • Add a Breakdown Box for the 132nd Arm XX with the HQ 132, the 4-3-6 Arm III 132, and 2-10 Mot Inf III 7B.
  • Add a Breakdown Box for the 133rd Arm XX with HQ 133, the 4-3-6 Arm III 133, and the 2-10 Mot Inf III 5B.
  • Remove the German 2-10 Mot Inf III 288 and 1-10 Mot AT II 605 from the Italian Replacement Pool, these are in the German Replacement Pool.
